Apparently this is nothing more than relocating dirt from the Fitness19 construction on the corner of 128th & Holly. Still, this lot is slated to house a Wal-Mart and some other small shops, so construction may not be far off.

Work is begging on the multipurpose sports fields and community park at 136th and Holly. The park is scheduled to open to the public in the summer/fall of 2009. Attached is the site plan from the city of Thornton.

Beginning Feb. 4 2008, Thornton trash and recycle customers will be receiving recycle pick up twice a month instead of once a month. The city of Thornton will be sending out updated pick-up schedules to customers.
